Search Help

Location is the most important search parameter. All events in the database are GEO located based on physical location of the auction. Therefore, the primary search filter is based on longitude and latitude.

Defining a search area

With this search there are a couple of options. You can simply cut and page a GPS coordinate into the coordinates text box. This will retrive the auctions where the coordinate falls within the market area that the auction house defines. You can also define your own search area. With a search area you define a rectangular area with a coordinate of the lower left (Southwest) corner and a upper-right (Northeast) corner. This search will return all the auction events that fall within that area.

Geocode and Places are options to defining the search coordinates. Geocode converts any address into GPS coordinates and Places allow selection popular regions of the country.

Optional Filters

The search form also provide filters for day of the week and number of lots. These are optional filters that allow refinement of search results.

Controlling Display

Where, Order by and Limit control how the search results are displayed.
